Abstract

A 21 year-old female patient treated in the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit of Dr. Sotero del Rio Hospital, with a mandibular Odontogenic Myxoma diagnosis. Related to this clinical case and its aspects, is why we propose a more conservative alternative of treatment than mandibular segmental resection with safety margins. Through post surgical clinical and imaging surveillance, we can establish that using a conservative treatment for Odontogenic Myxoma with less local aggressiveness features, we can obtain favorable results in the long term and far less morbidity for the patient.
