Proliferating lymphoid cells in lymphoma have the potential to involve not only lymph nodes, but other lymphoid tissues (including those in the oral cavity). This case represents a very rare diagnostic entity: oral extranodal presentation of CD5-negative Mantle cell lymphoma. In asymptomatic palatal swellings in adults, this uncommon variant of lymphoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis because early detection and treatment improve patient outcomes.
